Many parental control solutions exist today, but protecting children online remains a difficult challenge. The internet changes every second, new websites appear constantly, and unwanted content can sometimes pass through traditional filters.MobileGuard Dog was born from the CleanUpTheNet project as its mobile-focused companion — a loyal “puppy” created to bring the same mission of child protection to phones and mobile devices. By building and testing smarter filtering technology, MobileGuard Dog continues the work started by CleanUpTheNet, adding another layer of innovation to help protect the next generation online.
Over the past two years, we developed and tested our own filtering system, creating a database of hundreds of thousands of blocked domains combined with additional detection rules. This work became the foundation for our next step: MobileGuard Dog.
Our current technology works as a DNS-based filtering system, proving that harmful content can be blocked before it reaches a child's device. The next step is bringing this protection directly to families through MobileGuard Dog — an Android app built on the same filtering principles, but designed to be simple, private, and easy for every parent to use.
